TRADITIONAL MEDICARE PLANS vs. MEDICARE ADVANTAGE
Medicare Advantage plans are becoming popular with patients. We want all our patients to have a full understanding of the benefits offered by both traditional Medicare plans (part A & B), and Medicare Advantage plans (Part C), so that you can make the best choice for your situation when you're enrolling for benefits this year.
About Medicare AdvantageMedicare Advantage (Medicare Part C) is a REPLACEMENT of Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Supplemental Medical Insurance). Medicare Advantage benefits are through a private insurance plan rather than from the Original Medicare program run through the federal government. When you agree to participate in a Medicare Advantage plan, you lose your Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B coverage.
