CardioPulmonary Services is a group of departments whose primary focus is cardiac, pulmonary or a combination of both. These departments include Cardiac Rehab, Electrocardiology, Echocardiology & Vascular, Pulmonary Function Lab, Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab. Cardiac Rehab Cardiac Rehab is staffed by two ACLS certified Registered Nurses who perform cardiac stress testing, nuclear stress testing and cardiac rehabilitation. The Cardiac Rehab department has just recently upgraded to the Mortara X-Scribe Stress Exercise system. Electrocardiology Electrocardiology provides a full line of cardiac diagnostics, including 12 lead EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring and stress testing. Echocardiology and Vascular Studies Cardiac and vascular ultrasounds are noninvasive procedures that use ultrasound to study the structure and motions of the heart and vascular structure. The results will be viewed and interpreted by Cardiologist from Nebraska Heart Institute and Bryan LGH Heart Institute out of Lincoln Nebraska. The Cardiac Ultrasound provides information for heart failure, heart valve functions, pressure in the heart, heart size, and heart muscle damage. The Vascular Ultrasound provides information for blocked arteries throughout the body and blood clots within veins. Shannon Voet-Bruna RDCS provides these services Monday through Friday. Pulmonary Function Lab The Pulmonary Function Lab has recently upgraded to a new VMAX Encore. Complete Pulmonary Function testing is performed along with DLCO.
